 On 22 April 2025, terrorists brutally murdered 27 tourists in Pahalgam, located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. 

 

7th May 2025 - On this, the Indian Army took strict action against the terrorists and on 7 May 2025, 24 missiles were fired on 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and destroyed the terrorist bases. In which many terrorists were killed. The Indian Army named this operation "Operation Sindoor". Pakistan considered this an attack on itself and started a war against India. And on 7 May 2025 itself, Pakistan fired heavily on the LOC, due to which about 10 Indian civilians were killed. In response to this, India also silenced the Pakistani army by firing heavily.

8th May 2025 - On 8 May, in the afternoon, the Indian Army launched a missile attack on Lahore in Pakistan and destroyed the air security system present there. Around 9 pm on 8 May 2025, Pakistan tried to attack many areas of India's border states by sending drones. According to the Indian government, Pakistan tried to attack 15 Indian cities with drones on the night of 8 May 2025, but India's strong air security shot down all the drones of Pakistan in the sky. In response to this, the Indian army sent drones to many cities of Pakistan and carried out precise bombing. Along with this the Indian Army shot down 5 fighter planes of Pakistan.

9th May 2025 - On 9 May 2025 also, from 8.30 pm, Pakistan tried to attack Indian border districts with drones, but India's strong air defense system S-400 shot down all the drones in the air before they could land. War-torn Pakistan demanded a $1 Billion loan from the IMF. On the night of 9 May 2025, Pakistan again attacked 26 areas from Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan to Gujarat with drones. But all the drones were neutralized by the Indian Army.

10th May 2025 - On 10 May 2025 at 1.40 am, the Indian Army fired missiles at three Pakistani airbases and destroyed them. On 10 May 2025 US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to the Indian Army Chief of Pakistan General Staff over the telephone and appealed for a ceasefire.  On 10 May at around 15:00 hrs Pakistan offered ceasefire to India. India agreed to it. But in the evening Pakistan violated the ceasefire and again tried to attack several cities of India through drones. The Indian army shot down all the drones in the air. At 23.00 hrs India's Foreign Secretary said that since Pakistan did not follow the ceasefire and targeted several cities of India, the Indian army has been given a free hand to respond to Pakistan.
