Advertisement For 65000 New Petrol Pump In 2018-2019

Prior to the general elections, 65,000 new petrol pumps are being set up across the country. This will double the number of petrol pumps. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has published the advertisement for apply for 55,649 new petrol pumps on 25.11.2018.
There are 63,674 petrol pumps in India at this time. Most of these are from government companies. The number of which is as follows –
IOCL – 27,377
BPCL – 14,592
HPCL – 15,287
Nayara Petroleum is the largest petrol pump in the private sector. Which is 48 9 5. Nayara Petroleum was formerly known as Essar Petroleum. The second place in the private sector petrol pump is Reliance Petroleum, which is 1400. The Royal Dutch Shell Petroleum company at number three in private sector petrol pump, which is 116 in 2018.
According to the advertisement published on November 25, 2018, the number of new petrol pump is as follows –

IOCL – 26,982
BPCL – 15,802
HPCL – 12,865
Currently, in five states where the assembly elections are going on, advertisements have not been issued for opening petrol pumps there. After the election, advertisements will be published separately to open petrol pumps in those states. This will increase the total number of new petrol pump to 65000.
