Appointment of 15000 Urdu teachers in Bihar will be in April 2018

Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced on 27th March 2018, that 15000 Urdu teachers will be appointed in Bihar soon. These appointments will be done on the already vacant posts. He said that he was surprised that despite making 27,000 posts for Urdu teachers, all vacancies have not been appointed till now. The Chief Minister said that after the session of the Legislative Assembly is over, he will meet with the Chief Secretary and other officers of education department on April 4 or 5 and get information related to this issue and will know why all vacancies have not been filled till date.
It was informed to the Chief Minister that 27000 posts of Urdu teachers were created, in which only 12,000 posts were recruited. While the remaining 15000 posts are vacant. The posts of candidates who have passed TET will be appointed on Urdu teacher post. It is very likely that in April or May the process of appointment of Urdu teachers will begin.
Non-Muslim applicants can also apply for Urdu teacher provided that he/she has passed TET examination with Urdu subject and he/she is knowledgeable about Urdu.
The pay scales of Urdu teachers will be valid only as the salary of other teachers.
