CBI Daily Report In Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

As is well known, Sushant Singh Rajput, a famous young actor in Hindi cinema in India, was found dead in his house in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. Sushant was 34 years old at the time of his death. Mumbai police registered a UD case in Bandra police station regarding Sushant’s death. And were investigating this case. But Sushant’s father lodged an FIR in Patna on 28 July 2020, in which he filed a complaint against Riya Chakraborty and his family and Samuel Mirinda for conspiring to provoke Sushant to suicide. A team of police was sent from Bihar to investigate the case registered in this FIR. And the police team started investigation in Mumbai from July 29. But those people could not get the required support, due to which the investigation team reached back to Patna. After this, the Bihar government sent a recommendation to the Central Government to get the CBI to investigate the case on 5 August 2020. On August 6, the central government accepted the recommendation of the Bihar government and passed an inquiry order to have the Sushant death case investigation conducted by the CBI. On the other hand, the accused Riya Chakraborty appealed to the Supreme Court that the incident took place in Mumbai, so this case cannot be registered in Bihar. On August 19, 2020, the Supreme Court given order that this case will be investigated by the CBI, and the FIR lodged in Bihar was also declared as legal.
On 20 August 2020, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput case reached Mumbai. The team, consisting of three investigating officers, led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Nupur Prasad along with 12 experts from the CFSL.
CBI Investigation Day 1 – On 21 August 2020, The CBI started its investigation by taking documents and evidence (cups, plates, glasses, laptops, mobiles, clothes, hanging noose, etc.) from the Mumbai Police in connection with Sushant Death. Then the same day the CBI team visited Sushant’s Bandra house and inspected the scene closely. Apart from this, statements of Sushant’s servants, cooks, bodyguards and people around were recorded. The statement of the doctors who performed the post-mortem of Sushant’s body was also taken.
CBI Investigation Day 2– On 22 August 2020, the CBI team investigated Sushant by staying in Bandra’s house for 5 to 6 hours. At the same time, Sushant’s cook Neeraj, staff Deepesh Sawant and manager Siddharth Pithani were asked to re-create the scene of the action to bring Sushant’s body down from the gallows. On the other hand, some suspicious facts were also claimed to be found in the postmortem report. As if it was found in the report that there was no bone broken around the throat and head. Traces of the noose on the throat’s throat were not equal. There was a 1 cm mark on the right side, while a 3.5 cm mark on the left side.
The doctor at Cooper Hospital was asked why there was such a hurry to do the post-mortem. The doctor said that the postmortem of Sushant’s body was done at night only on the request of Mumbai Police. Later it was revealed in the investigation that on the request of Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh, the post-mortem of Sushant’s body was done in the night of 14 June 2020.
CBI Investigation Day 3 – On 23 August 2020, the CBI team questioned Cook Neeraj again for the third time, Siddharth and Deepesh. Specific questions were asked by the CBI on these 13 and 14 June so that it was clear what happened on the first night and the day of death from Sushant’s death.
CBI Investigation Day 4 – On 24 August 2020, the CBI team questioned again to Neeraj, Keshav, Siddharth and Deepesh at Sushant’s flat. A CBI team also went to Waterstone Resort in Mumbai for investigation.
CBI Investigation Day 5 – On 25 August 2020, the CBI team questioned again to Neeraj, Keshav, Siddharth and Deepesh at DRDO guest house. The CBI has summoned 2 Mumbai Police personnel, including Bhushan Belnekar, an investigating officer in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and a sub-inspector of the Bandra police station.
