Mahabharat is an Indian television serial based on the ancient Hindu epic Mahabharata. It is a total of 94 episodes. This serial had its original run from 2 October 1988 to 24 June 1990 on Doordarshan. It was produced by famous film maker B. R. Chopra and directed by his son, Ravi Chopra.
