New Date of Bihar STET Exam With Age Limit

The Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 (STET) to be held on 7 November has been postponed. Bihar School Examination Board issued a press release on Wednesday and informed about this. The Board has written that after the Patna High Court’s directive to increase the maximum age limit for STET, the Education Department has sought consultation with the Law Department in this regard.
The new date for the conduct of the STET 2019, Physical Education and Health Instructor Qualification Examination, 2019 will be announced in December 2019. The Patna High Court had directed the Bihar school Examination Board to increase the maximum age limit on October 15, 2014 for the state, which is happening after nearly eight years in Bihar. Now it is expected that at least 7 years relaxation will be given in the new age limit.
As already determined, only those candidates who have obtained B.Ed degree will be considered eligible for this examination. Candidates without a B.Ed degree will not be considered eligible to appear in the State Examination.
