Rs. 2000 Stipend For Unergraduate Agriculture Student In Bihar

Bihar government has announced to pay Rs. 2000/- per month for agriculture college undergraduate student. The students who are doing course for B.Sc. in agriculture will get Rs. 2000/- per month as stipend. They will get Rs. 6000/- per year as extra for study material.

Government will give stipend to other students of dairy, animal husbandry and fishery courses too. Government has taken this decision in view of vacant seats in agriculture colleges.

There is facility of stipend available for post graduate before many years. But by new system the students will attract for this course.

These days no any student wants join Agriculture College for B.Sc. in Agriculture due to very little scope of job after do this course. Maximum students of B.Sc. agriculture are unemployed or doing job on contractual basis at a low payment.

90% students are going for engineering course after pass 10+2 (with PCM) because of big scope of job after complete course. Obviously the other courses will face lack of students. So, government wants attract student to agriculture courses.

But if government will create huge job for agricultural students then student will turn automatically in agriculture colleges.
