Hindi cinema’s veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9, 2023 in Gurugram Haryana. He had come to a Holi party on March 8, 2023, at a friend’s residence in Gurugram itself. His staff told that he went to sleep at 10.30 pm. At 12.30 in the night, he started having trouble breathing, he immediately called his staff. The staff and others took him to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram but by then he had died. The doctor told that he had a heart attack. It has been learned from the sources that Satish Kaushik was suffering from blood sugar and blood pressure, for which he was also undergoing treatment. Doctors had also advised him to reduce his weight. Because of which he also joined the gym in the beginning of this year. After his death, the postmortem of his dead body was done in Delhi itself and in the evening his dead body was brought to Mumbai, where he was cremated in the evening.
Many other artists including Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Raza Murad, Shilpa Shetty, Javed Akhtar, Pankaj Tripathi, Chunky Pandey, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tussar Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Arjoon Kapoor came from the world of cinema to pay their last respects.
Satish Kaushik is survived by his wife Mrs. Shashi Kaushik and 12 year old daughter Vanshika Kaushik. If we talk about property, then Satish Kaushik has left a legacy of crores of rupees for his family. Satish Kaushik was not only an eminent actor but also an eminent director. Many films directed by him had a very good collection at the box office. At the time of his death, Satish Kaushik had property worth about Rs. 200 crores. Apart from Mumbai in the name of late Satish Kaushik, there is also a lot of property in Bijwasan, Delhi & NCR.
