Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced that the meritorious students of Bihar will be given scholarships to continue their studies after passing the Class 10th and 12th exams. The name of this scholarship will be Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Talent Scholarship Scheme.
Under this Scholership Scheme, after pass the 10th board exam, the student will get Rs. 1200 per month for further study in 12th. And after pass 12th board exam, the student will get Rs. 1500 per month as scholarship for further study in Graduation level. The condition to get scholarship will be that the student will have to enroll for further studies and in the next study, there will be at least 60% marks in the examination.
The government has now implemented these plans for the students who will be ranked in the top 10 in Bihar Board’s 10th examination and in the top 5 in Bihar Board’s 12th examination. The benefits of this scheme will also be available to students who have passed the examination in the year 2017. From January 2018, this scheme will be implemented in Bihar.
