Sourav Ganguly Becomes 39th BCCI President

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly becomes 39th BCCI president on 23rd October, 2019. He was member of Committee of Administrators (CoA) from last 24 months. He becomes President for rest 9 months.
Along with Sourav’s appointment to the post of President, some other important posts were appointed to people who are not related to cricket but to the family of politicians. It seems that only familyism of politician will work in the BCCI.
Here is such examples.
Former BCCI president and current junior finance minster Anurag Thakur’s younger brother Arun Dhumal became the treasurer of BCCI.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah was made the secretary of BCCI.
Even the children of BCCI’s former president N. Srinivasan and former secretary Niranjan Shah have now become members of BCCI. The Supreme Court had a strict order that BCCI be kept out of the control of politicians. But the government has proved successful in setting its man somehow in this board.
The Supreme Court should intervene in this and give clear directions that only those persons who have played in at least 10 international tournaments of cricket should be appointed to any post of the board.
