(1) On 25 September 2020, the famous playback singer SP Balasubramaniam (74) died due to corona disease in a hospital in Chennai. He has a record of singing more than 40 thousand songs in 6 languages.
(2) The Election Commission announced the schedule for the assembly elections in Bihar. This election will be held in 3 phases. Elections for the first phase will be held on October 28, second phase will be held on November 3 and third phase will be held on November 7 and counting will be held on November 10.
(3) The BSE Sensex gained 835 points to close at 37,388. The NSE Nifty also gained 244 points to close at 11050.
(4) On September 25, nationwide agitations were organized by farmers across the country to protest against the agricultural law brought by the Modi government. The Congress has called this rule as rule to hand over the land of the farmers to the capitalists.
(5) The seventh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals. Delhi defeated Chennai by 44 runs. Batting first, the Delhi team loosed 3 wickets in 20 overs and scored 175 runs. Chasing a target of 176 runs, Chennai’s team could only manage 131 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
(6) Virat Kohli has been fined for the match against Punjab. During the sixth match of IPL against Kings XI Punjab, penalty has been imposed for slow over speed. Captain Kohli has been fined Rs 12 lakh for this. Now Kohli will have to pay Rs 12 lakh as penalty.

(9) Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul, who scored an unbeaten 132 against Royal Challengers Bangalore, became the first batsman to complete the fastest 2000 runs in IPL. Rahul completed 2000 in 60 innings in 69 matches.
(10) National Medical Commission (NMC) came into existence in place of the 64-year-old Medical Council Of India (MCI). Now the 64-year-old Medical Council Of India Act has also ended.
