Films based on all types of marriages are made in the Indian cinema world. In fact, in Bollywood, films have been made mostly on story based. But many films based on sports have also been made. The credit for popularizing cricket in India is given to the Cricket World Cup in 1983. Color television sales in India increased to match the same. - Iqbal (2005), Star Cast – Shreyas Talpade , Naseeruddin, Girish Karnad, Shweta Basu Prasad. This film is the story of Iqbal, a dumb deaf boy living in a village in India who is poor but wants to become a cricketer.
- Sachin: A Billion Dreams (2017), Star Cast – Sachin Tendulkar. This film is a documentary film on the great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
