Presenting the budget for the year 2024 in the Bihar Vidhansabha, the Finance Minister has announced that in the year 2024, many lakh vacant posts will be filled in Bihar. The Government of Bihar is going to take out the advertisement soon for the appointment on the following posts.

- Headmaster in Government Schools in Bihar (बिहार के सरकारी स्कूलों में प्रधानाध्यापक) –
- Total Post – 60,506
- Minimum age – 31 years, Maximum age – 47 Years (For General), 50 Years (For OBC), 52 Years (For SC/ST)
- Minimum Qualification – Master Degree with minimum 50%, B.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed , Qualified in the ‘Teacher Eligibility Test’ conducted for teachers appointed on or after 2012.
- Experience – Minimum l0 Years of continuous service on the post of Secondary Teacher in State Government School under Panchayati Raj institution or Municipal Body institution.
- Salary – Rs. 35,000/month plus DA.
