In India, Assembly elections are scheduled every year in some or the other state. Every state has its assembly, whose members are elected by the local people of the state. General elections to the state assembly are held every five years. The elections of Delhi and Mumbai Corporation along with the Legislative Assembly of the states are also not less that of any assembly election. The Election Commission determines the date for all these. As per the current tenure, the next elections to the Legislative Assembly of the following states and the Corporation of Delhi and Mumbai are scheduled in 2024 and 2025 as follows –

- Haryana assembly election – 1st October 2024 (Total Seats – 90, Present CM – Nayab Singh Saini, BJP)
- Jammu & Kashmir Assembly Election – 18th September to 1st October 2024 (Total Seats 90, Present CM – N/A)
- Jharkhand assembly election – November 2024 (Total Seats – 81, Present CM – Hemant Soren, JMM)
- Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai – November 2024 (Total Seats – 227, Present Mayor – Kishori Pednekar, Shivsena)

- Maharashtra Assembly Election – October 2024 (Total Seats 288, Present CM – Eknath Shinde)
- Delhi Assembly Election – February 2025 (Total seats – 70, Present CM – Arvind Kejriwal)
- Bihar Assembly Election – November 2025 (Total Seats – 243, Present CM – Nitish Kumar)
In General election 2024 BJP will loose. Rahul Gandhi will be PM.
Inflation and unemployment are going to be the biggest issues in the next general elections. Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister.
It is impossible for BJP to return in rule after Loksabha election 2024.
