The central government has announced the construction of a 4-lane road from Munger (Bihar) to Mirza Chowki (District – Sahebganj, Jharkhand). Some land of some villages located in Sultanganj, Nathnagar, Jagdishpur, Goradih and Sabour blocks will be acquired. 3491.69 crore is estimated to be spent on the construction of about 125 km of road from Munger to Mirzachowki of Bhagalpur. Construction work will be completed within two years of work allocation. The road will be built in 2 phases. The length of this proposed road from Munger to Mirza Chowki will be about 125 kilometers. In the first phase, 4 lane road from Munger to Sultanganj will be constructed. In the second phase, there is a plan to construct a 4-lane road from Sultanganj to Mirzachauki.
Munger to Mirzachowki 4 lane road will pass through these villages and places. – Munger, Bariarpur, Ghorghat, Kharia, Sultanganj, Akbarnagar, Bhagalpur Bypaas (Dogachchi), Bhagalpur Zero Mile, Ghogha, Rasalpur, Mirzachouki.
