Central Government has changed the rule of subsidy on LPG gas cylinder from September 2012. Now you can get subsidy on only 6 cylinders of LPG in one year. If you need more LPG gas cylinder then you have to get on market rate. The market rate of LPG gas cylinder varies from Rs. 750 to 775 in all over states of India.
In another announcement Central govt. has told that in those states where Congress is ruling the consumer of those states will get 9 LPG gas cylinder in one year on subsidized rate .
By new rule if you want take a new gas connection then you can apply direct online in website of LPG company. The company will verify your document and after that you will get gas connection from your nearest gas distributor without pay more money. You will have to deposit only genuine amount in LPG company online direct. You will get new gas connection in three weeks only.
In other rule you can put your number for cylinder by only online or direct call to company head office. The call to LPG company head office will be toll free. The online number will be done at website of your LPG company. After put your number you will receive gas cylinder at your home within 48 hours.
