Naseeruddin Shah is one of the best actor of Bollywood. He was born in Barabanki district (UP) on 20th July 1950. He is from a royal family of Nawab of UP. Naseeruddin Shah’s elder brother, Zameerud-Din Shah, retired as Lieutenant General in the Indian Army.

Naseeruddin Shah took education from the National School of Drama, Delhi. He first got the role of a supporting actor in Aman, which came in 1967. After struggling 8 years, in 1975, he got the opportunity to play a leading role in a film for the first time, the film was Nishant. After that, he made one of the finest films from one to the other. He has won the National Award for acting 3 times so far. In addition, he has won the Filmfare Award 3 times. In te month of December of 2018, there was a lot of controversy created over his statement in which he had said that there is an atmosphere of fear in India at this time. Even before this, there was a lot of controversy at that time when he had signed a collective appeal to stop the execution of one of the accused. But even after these controversies, the country highly respected him, and all Bollywood actors considered him as his ‘great teacher of acting’ for his performance. Due to his great contribution in film acting, the Government of India has given him the title of “Padma Bhushan” in the year 2003.
